With more than twenty years of Internet marketing experience, Jennifer Cario has dedicated her career to creatively helping businesses and consumers connect in a way that positively impacts the bottom line. After nearly a decade of working with various agencies and a few in-house companies to design, develop and market eCommerce websites, Jennifer gained prominence in the Internet Marketing field during her six-year stretch serving as Editor-in-Chief of Search Engine Guide, a site focused on educating small businesses about online marketing just as the Internet was emerging as a marketing tool. During that time, she helped blaze a trail and develop best practices for social media as a frequent speaker, panelist and trainer at shows such as Search Engine Strategies, Pubcon and Search Marketing Expo.
In 2009, she joined the team at Market Motive, serving as their Social Media Faculty Chair and launched SugarSpun Marketing as a consultancy aimed at helping SMBs build solid social media strategies. In the past six years, SugarSpun Marketing has grown to become a full service online marketing agency specializing in content marketing, social media outreach, analytics and creative design.
Jennifer’s career has included time spent with a wide range of clients, serving everyone from mom and pop shops on up to nationally known brands like American Greetings, Ford Motor Company, the Washington Times and the U.S. Tennis Association. Jennifer is also the author of the book “Pinterest Marketing: An Hour a Day.”
