Matt Cario

Matthew Cario, PMP has over 15 years of experience as a project manager working in the Fortune 500 sector where he built a name for himself as someone dedicated to doing it right the first time.

With a background that spans finance, technology and accounting, Matt has mastered the art of quickly recognizing client needs, business nuances and goals. He specializes in business analytics and serves as project manager for SugarSpun’s clients and the internal team. His attention to detail and ability to allocate resources helps provide our marketing team and clients with valuable insight while keeping projects moving in the right direction.

A man of many talents, Matt brings the added bonus of a solid background in web analytics, WordPress development, SharePoint and a wide range of project management solutions.

Matt holds both a Master Certification in Web Analytics from Market Motive and his PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute. He has worked with a wide range of companies including PNC Bank, Crown Castle, Heartland ECSI, Fidelity, Simplilearn the U.S. Tennis Association and the Washington Times.

Matt enjoys construction and working with his hands as well as his work with SugarSpun. He actually built the entire SugarSpun offices himself, by hand, including the plumbing and electrical work.

Matt has a farm of 22.5 acres. Thankfully, he only has to mow four of those acres.

Another passion of Matt’s is sound. He plays drums for one of the worship teams at church. He loves sound so much that he dug out the concrete wall of his basement to install a center channel behind his movie theater screen.

Matt loves to fly. He is currently in the process of getting his glider pilot’s license.
