Johnna Batchler

Johnna brings a background rich in finance, accounting, advocacy and much more to the SugarSpun team. With more than a decade of financial management and training experience, she has worked with large corporations as well as small-to-mid-sized businesses.

Johnna has also spent the last decade entrenched in educational advocacy for children with special needs. Her work in this area has involved working as a liaison for children and their families as well as lobbying at the state and national level.

Meeting Jennifer through her work as Vice President and Treasurer for Bentworth Blessings helped her understand how her skills could be applied to marketing. Johnna is passionate about using her skills in a behind-the-scenes manner to help others do their jobs more efficiently to impact the overall success of SugarSpun.

Johnna is blessed to be the mom of an amazing 12-year-old girl named Marion who has Autism. She continually learns from her sweet girl from both her talents and abilities as well as her different views of the world.

Music is another area of passion and peace for Johnna. She has the privilege of singing with an incredible group of people at her church and is also the administrator for the church’s Children’s Choir.

Johnna adores her work for a local charity, Bentworth Blessings, where she is on the Board. She works closely with Jen in shopping for food, hygiene items, and other items to meet the needs of her local community.

Not surprisingly as with the rest of the SugarSpun team, Johnna loves to cook and bake – especially vegan and allergy-friendly food. Her daughter Marion had a lot of allergies when she was young, and Johnna enjoys the challenge of creating good food with extremely limited ingredients.
